Internationally recognized metalmusic bands, the whole best from local heavy music, national traditions, look at the history – that and a lot more already fourth year in a row will be offered in modern ethnical music and old craft festival “Zobens un Lemess”, that this year will take place on Bauska castle mound stage, located in the picturesque river valley of Musa and Memele from June 15th to June 17th.

In this summer festival will perform both well-known and accomplished musicians as well as newer bands that could become a discovery for many attendees substantially completing their musical horizons. Likewise during the festival will be held masterclasses of ancient crafts, lectures and experiments, attendees will be able to contemplate the battle simulations presented by history reconstruction clubs and watch spectacular fire sculptures.

Overnight stay at the festival is planned in tent camp located inside the territory of the event. All necessary services including amenity, high-quality food, craft beer, refreshments and medical point will be available on site, as well Musa or Memel Beach will be waiting everybody wishing to cool down.

The fourth modern ethnical music and old craft festival “Zobens un Lemess” in summer 2018.will be waiting heavy music and national tradition fans from June 15th to June 17th on Bauska castle mound stage, located in the picturesque river valley of Musa and Memele.The first artists to take stage have already been announced – pagan metallic Finns “Moonsorrow”, celtic folk metal band “Cruachan” from Ireland, Belarusian pagan metal representatives Gods Tower and folk metal band “Folclore”, Lithuanian folk metal band “Ūkanrose”, as well as local dark experimental folk band “Rāva”. But the central event during this year’s festival “Zobens un Lemess” will be the most powerful local folk metal bands “Skyforger” concert dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the legendary studio album “Kauja pie Saules”.
